4th Congressional District Virtual Candidate Forum

The Michigan Democratic Party has slated a virtual candidate forum in the 4th Congressional Distict for Monday, July 13, at 6:00 pm.

The first half-hour of the on-line meeting will be an opportunity for state and local candidates to introduce themselves.

Then, there will be an hour long debate-style forum between Michigan's two democratic candidates, Anthony Feig and Jerry Hilliard.

Feig's a geoscientist and professor at Central Michigan University.

Hilliard is a former public school teacher and community college instructor who ran against Michigan's incumbent Republican Congressman John Moolenaar in 2018. 

Moolenaar replaced Dave Camp in January, 2015.  There has been a Republican U.S. House Representive in 4th congressional district for the last 29 years – ever since January,1991!

Michigan's 4th Congressional district currently includes includes: Wexford, Missaukee, Roscommon, Ogemaw, Osceola, Clare, Gladwin, Mecosta, Isabella, Midland, Gratiot, Clinton, Shiawassee, and parts of Montcalm, and Saginaw counties.
