Attorney General Dana Nessel Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Government Transparency

@MIAttorneyGeneralThe Midland Daily News and Michigan Press Association are hosting an informal seminar with Attorney General Dana Nessel, who will be discussing the state's sunshine laws which are meant to ensure government transparency and citizens' lawful access to public records.

The FREE session will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the auditorium at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, 1710 W. St. Andrews Road in Midland

The two-hour seminar is intended to educate public officials on the state’s Freedom of Information Act, or FOIA, and Open Meetings Act..
