League of Women Voters of The Midland Area ‘People Powered’ Town Hall

The League of Women Voters of The Midland Area is holding a virtual town hall event on Monday, May 17, beginning at 7 p.m.  The purpose is to provide information on the Redistricting effort prior to the Redistricting Committee’s public hearing in Midland on Tuesday, May 25.

LWV thinks the communities impacted by the dam failures and flooding might constitute a Tittabawssee-Chippewa River Watershed Community of Interest that needs to be considered by the MICRC and would like to give you more information about the Redistricting process and how you could testify in the MICRC’s public hearings in May and June.
