The Midland County Democratic Party (MCDP) is a grassroots community organization of committed citizens dedicated to supporting Democratic Party efforts within Midland County, the State of Michigan, and the United States of America. Our primary mission is to support qualified local candidates.
New members and community supporters are always welcome!
Our monthly meetings take place on the third Wednesday at 7:00 pm, in the Commissioner Room located on the first floor of the Midland County Administration Building, 220 W Ellsworth St, Midland, MI 48640.
We do not meet in August or in December.
These meetings are FREE and open to the general public. Bring your questions, comments, new ideas and a friend or two!
In October, our special guest will be John Keefer, Midland County Chief Deputy Clerk
Mr. Keefer, a graduate of Baker College of Auburn Hills and Baker College of Flint, began his career in government by working for a vendor that supplied election equipment and services to seven states including Michigan. Through his work for Election Source, he met Ann Manary, who asked him to be her new Chief Deputy. Mr. Keefer has been Midland County’s Chief Deputy Clerk since fall of 2017.
Elections are Keefer's passion, and ensuring they are fair and accurate is of the utmost importance him. Midland County’s Chief Deputy Clerk is going to address the new voting laws in Michigan so bring a friend and both of your questions!
