The Midland County Democratic Party (MCDP) is a grassroots community organization of committed citizens dedicated to supporting Democratic Party efforts within Midland County, the State of Michigan, and the United States of America. Our primary mission is to support qualified local candidates.
New members and community supporters are always welcome!
We do not meet in August or in December.
This is MCDP's first monthly meeting in the New Year where we will be working on plans for 2020.
Our guests at our Feb. 19th meeting will be local 98th House District candidate Sarah Schulz and Elizabeth Welch, a MI Supreme Ct. candidate!
Born and raised in Flint, Midland's Sarah Schulz is a deeply-rooted Mid-Michigander who has dedicated her career to working for mission-driven organizations. Sarah is currently an HR executive of a large national nonprofit that works in urban schools to help kids succeed and graduate.
Elizabeth Welch has dedicated her 24-year legal career to making Michigan work for us all. Safer and fair working conditions, equity in education, protecting our natural resources, and ensuring the law is applied fairly to all people of Michigan are the hallmarks of Elizabeth’s vast and respected career.
These meetings are FREE and open to the general public. Bring your questions, comments, new ideas and a friend or three!
Discussion starts at 6:30 PM. Unless stated otherwise, each meeting starts at 7 PM in the Commissioner Room at the Midland County Bldg, 220 Ellsworth, Midland MI 48640.
