Midland County Democratic Party (MCDP) Monthly Meeting

The Midland County Democratic Party (MCDP) is a grassroots community organization of committed citizens dedicated to supporting Democratic Party efforts within Midland County, the State of Michigan, and the United States of America.  Our primary mission is to support qualified local candidates.

New members and community supporters are always welcome!

We do not meet in August or in December.

Normally our monthly Midland County Democratic Party meetings take place at 7:00 pm in the County Building, 220 W. Ellsworth, on the third Wednesday of the month.

Due to social distancing and the Covid-19 pandemic, however, all future MCDP meetings will be virtually conducted at the same time and date using the free Zoom video conferencing and real-time messaging app.

These meetings are FREE and open to the general public.  Bring your questions, comments, new ideas and a friend or three!

During our June 17 virtuaol monthly meeting, our guest speaker is State Rep. Brian Elder. Rep. Elder is serving his second term representing the 96th House District, which includes the cities of Bay City and Essexville and Bangor, Frankenlust, Hampton, Kawkawlin, Merritt, Monitor and Portsmouth townships in Bay County. Rep. Elder serves as the Democratic Vice Chair on the Agriculture Committee and also serves on the Judiciary Committee. Rep. Elder was reappointed to the Michigan Law Revision Commission for a second term and is the Chair and Co-Founder of the Michigan Legislative Labor Caucus.

We will also have updates from our other candidates and more.
