We celebrate Memorial Day to honor and remember the sacrifices of those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
This year the Memorial Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. on W. Main Street in downtown Midland.
From there our six "Working Together" volunteers will escort our vintage parade vehicle from W. Main to Rodd, then Rodd to E. Nelson and end up at the Central Park Bandshell.
As usual, the Midland County Democratic Party group will have plenty of candy for the kids and warm summer smiles and grateful handshakes for all our military family members, friends and neighbors.
Special thanks to Midland County Veterans' Counselor, Ross Ahlich, and the hardworking folks at the American Legion, Berryhill Post #165 for coordinating this annual event.
Bring a blanket, chair and something to drink. Hope to see you there!
