State Rep. Roger Hauck has announced a special town hall meeting with special guest Rep. Jack O’Malley on Monday, June 10 to discuss road funding in the state of Michigan.
Hauck represents Michigan’s 99th state House District, which encompasses all of Isabella County and ten townships in Midland County.
O’Malley serves as chairman of the House Transportation Committee. He was first elected to the GOP-controlled House in November 2018 to represent Michigan’s 101st District, which includes Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee and Mason counties.
O’Malley’s 13-member committee recently held six weeks of special hearings to dive into the discrepancy between the level of road funding and the quality of road construction. He’s now traveling throughout Michigan to discuss road funding with local residents.
The town hall will take place at the Isabella County Commission on Aging, located at 2200 S. Lincoln Road in Mt. Pleasant. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the discussion will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with time allotted for questions.
The event is FREE and open to the public.
