Sanford Memorial Day Parade

The Sanford American Legion Post 443 (Thomas-Daniels-Hand) will be hosting the annual Memorial Day Parade in Sanford on Monday, May 27, 2019

Once again, the Parade will step off from the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church parking lot promptly at 1:00 p.m. and will follow our traditional route west on Saginaw Rd., however, this year the parade will conclude at the new Seven Flag Monument at the base of the Rail Trail (Maple St.).

As usual, the Midland County Democratic Party group will have plenty of candy for the kids and warm summer smiles and grateful handshakes for all our military family members, friends and neighbors.

Participants should plan on arriving at St. Paul’s at NOON for line up placement.

Those interested in participating and/or having a float in the Parade are asked to contact the Sanford American Legion Post at (989) 687-9930 by Friday, May 24, 2019.

• Note: Those parade participants not wishing to attend the Memorial Service should peel off at Center Street.
